Shop Robbery and Carjack Attempt
Police in Florida says that an armed suspect who tried to rob a car repair shop and was shot by the owner is in the hospital.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that a guy went into Galaxy Tires and Auto Repair on Woodruff Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida, around 11 a.m. on Friday. The attacker who is an armed suspect is said to have held the business owner at gunpoint and asked for money.
The armed suspect then tried to carjack a customer who was sitting in a car at the shop, but his plan failed because the customer’s car didn’t work. Since the suspect couldn’t steal the car, he tried to run away on foot, but the owner had something else in mind.

Brave Shop Owner Shots Armed Suspect
Police says that when the suspect started to leave, the shop owner followed him outside and shot him once in the lower body.
The man ran away and passed out in the parking lot of a nearby restaurant. He was taken to the hospital, however, his injuries did not put his life in danger.
At this time, the suspect’s name is still unknown, but the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said he will be charged with armed robbery and other crimes.
