Delaware police have confirmed that three people were shot in the food court of the Christiana Mall on Saturday evening

Authorities responded to reports of shots being fired in the mall on Saturday evening, and the mall was subsequently closed and evacuated. The three victims of the shooting were transported to a nearby hospital, and the police have confirmed that they do not have the suspect in custody.

In response to the incident, the Delaware State Police have launched a criminal investigation into the shooting at the Christiana Mall. They have not shared any information about the possible motive behind the attack or whether they have any suspects in custody.

The police have confirmed that there are currently no public safety concerns at the mall and the surrounding area

However, they have warned residents to expect an increase in police presence at the mall in the coming days. A reunification site has been set up at the north entrance of the mall by the AT&T store to help people who were separated from their friends or family members during the evacuation.

The mall will remain closed for the rest of the night as the investigation continues. Delaware police are urging anyone who witnessed the shooting or has any information about the incident to come forward and contact the police as soon as possible.
