Trump wishes to skip his upcoming court date. All offenders, as per court ruling over his case, are required to appear, and he is no exception

During his indictment on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump’s attorney questioned whether the judge ruling over his Manhattan court case needed to come to New York again for the following session.

Justice Juan Merchan of the New York Supreme Court informed the attorneys for Donald Trump that he wasn’t going to be creating an arrangement for the former president and also that he expected “all other accused to present in court, including highly publicized defendants.”

Todd Blanche, one of Trump’s 3 attorneys, claimed that the defendant’s court hearings were “incredibly difficult and costly for the city.” Trump is charged with 34 felonies for 1st-degree falsifying company records.

Based on the records of the court, Blanche informed Merchan that “every of lower Manhattan was closed down today.”

Before the former president’s court hearing, officials put barriers and “Do Not Park” banners around Trump Tower and in the neighborhood of the Manhattan courthouse.
