Trump followers gather in Huntington Beach; incident results in one injury and one arrest

While it was not believed that former president Donald Trump would be charged till Tuesday of the next week, followers protested in Southern California on Saturday.

Both at a rally held at the Huntington Beach Pier and in a crowd that gathered in Downtown Los Angeles at the Federal Building on Wilshire Boulevard, protesters might be heard yelling, “Stand up for Trump.”

“Someone is being attacked for no reason. Not at all, “Felicia Novick, among the few people gathered at the pier, made this statement. “Leave my president alone, please.”

The rallies coincided with the news that the former president is facing a criminal charge of manipulating company documents, making him the first person in that position to be charged in history. Trump’s followers voiced their disapproval of those bringing charges against him in the expectation that he would feel their support greater than ever before.

One woman responded simply, “Nothing,” while questioning what she expected would happen as a result of Trump’s claims.

She is among several people who claim that the accusation does not affect their loyalty to him and that love for him may increase as he gets ready to stand for president once more in 2024 as a result of the accusations.
