And even though 200 million viewers are scheduled to watch the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs game, most attention will be on the 34-year performance.
You’d imagine that with all of those eyes focused on the Barbadian diva, Bad Gal RiRi will be scoring a touchdown and receiving a huge reward.
But in reality, it’s not like that.
The NFL rule indicates that the league will pay for all expenses spent during the preparation of the halftime show, including travel charges.
Joanna Hunter, a representative for the NFL, stated to Forbes in 2016 that this does not include funding the singers.
“The artists are not paid by us. We pay all expenditures associated with manufacturing,” According to the Daily Star, she claimed.
Rihanna would get exactly zero dollars in exchange when she enters the field, joining in the footsteps of superstars like Beyoncé, J.Lo, and Bruno Mars.
