$750 to $1500 Worth of One-Time Check in Colorado Will Be Given Next Days

The last batch of one-time checks, which can be up to $1,500, will be distributed to millions of Coloradans before the month is out.

Colorado Cash Back rebates should be received by taxpayers by January 31 if their returns were submitted by October 17th. The state has been sending out checks all this month and intends to send all the rebates by the end of the following week.

In order to provide the payments, which were initially expected to be $400 for single filers and $800 for couples, Governor Jared Polis signed a law in May 2022.

According to an article published by The US Sun on January 23, 2023, the payments were increased to $750 for individuals and $1,500 for couples after additional state revenue was received. For filers who didn’t request an extension, an earlier round of payments was already distributed in September.

Colorado residents must have reached the age of 18 by December 31, 2021, or earlier, in order to be eligible for this payment. Additionally, they must have submitted a state income tax return and have lived in Colorado for the entirety of the 2021 tax year.

No checks will be paid by direct deposit; instead, they will be mailed to the last known address listed on your 2021 tax return. About three million residents would qualify for the said one-time check.
