Elon Musk’s Announced “Fauci Files” Reaction from Dr. Anthony Fauci is Sharp

On Friday, Dr. Anthony Fauci expressed confusion over Twitter founder Elon Musk’s call for his prosecution and the teasing release of what he calls the “Fauci files.”

The former long-term head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was questioned by “Your World” anchor Neil Cavuto about what he thought of the “world’s wealthiest man, or second richest man today, going after you.”

Fauci responded, “Neil, I have no idea what he’s talking about. I wish I had. I have no idea what he is addressing.”

The “Twitter Files” series has previously covered the internal conversations and activities of the social media site before Musk’s takeover. According to Musk, the “Fauci files” were scheduled to be released in the first few days of January. But it seems like a delay in the release.

“I simply don’t understand what he is doing. And I don’t think I should be talking about it because it’s a little bit confusing to me,” said Fauci, who has faced heavy criticism from the right for his support of COVID-19 lockdowns and compulsory vaccination and mask regulations.

Fauci promised Cavuto that he will “be able to defend all I’ve done” and that he has “absolutely nothing to fear at all.”

“So many people are talking disrespectfully about me and Twitter. My Twitter account is empty. I don’t currently have a Twitter account. I have no plans to create a Twitter account. And I’ve never used Twitter,” he stated. ” So, Neil, I’m not sure what they’re referring to when they say that. I simply don’t. I’m puzzled.”
