After Suspended for Assaulting White Student Who Repeatedly called Her N-Word, Student Attempted Suicide

Based on an exclusive NBC News story, a 17-year-old Black kid who attacked a White student for using the N-word repeatedly received a 45-day term in an alternative school for teenagers with serious behavioral issues.

At a nearby Texas school, a student said that she begged a boy in her class not to use the N-word 4 days in a row.

She remembered him saying, “Oh! I’m crushing on all of you n—-s.”

She claimed that he repeated the term in another instance. Once more, “This stupid n——s left the balls out.”

Earlier in the semester, she remembers the same student using the N-word once more while laughing after a successful jump shot in a basketball game.

She then decided to inform the school’s administration about the student. She said, she and the school’s 12 other Black students had reported the racist abuse and immediately after had filed a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Education.

She immediately filmed two boys referring to her by the N-word in secret. She would later look back on it as an unforgettable day.

She became angry when the boy repeated the racist slur at her during a conversation. In a recording made by another student, Autumn is heard saying, “I warned you to stop using that term.”

“This is the only way it will stop; was how I saw it. She said to NBC, “This is the only way he’s going to learn.

Without any significant disciplinary history, Autumn then grabbed the youngster by his shirt and began repeatedly slapping him while saying, “You’re going to learn! … Please stop! That f——! … N—- crap!”

Autumn started to cry as the boy slipped from her hands.

“That’s not okay!” Autumn screamed, crying. “It is racist.”

It was the start of a long journey for Autumn. She was given a 45-day sentence in an alternate school for kids with serious behavioral issues by the school administration. She had hoped to graduate as the school’s valedictorian, but she is now concerned about completing it on time.
