Increased $914 Social Security Income Check
The Social Security Administration confirmed that an amount of $914 Social Security Income check will be released before New Year’s eve. It will be the second payment for this month, but the first payment was a bit lower since it did not have yet the 8.7 percent COLA adjustment or increase.
Two payments in a month typically happen if the first day of the month falls into a weekend or a holiday. In this case, Jan. 1, 2023 is Sunday and the closest working day is Dec.30, which means that eligible recipients will receive their payments before New Year.
Meanwhile, married couples are qualified to get $1,371 a month beginning Dec. 30. In a published article in The U.S. Sun, eligible recipients will get less if they have other sources of income or if someone pays their household expenses.

Who Are Eligible?
Social Security Income is a federally funded program and is different from Social Supplemental Income. Both are intended for needy persons aged 65 or older, blind or disabled adults, and blind or disabled children but the Supplemental Program depends on the state where you lived.
The Social Security Administration has strict strict qualifications, including asset limits, in order to receive benefits. Single people can only keep $2,000 in assets, and couples can only keep $3,000.
