ARE YOU QUALIFIED?
Those who are qualified to receive a settlement payment should have received a letter dated June 2021 specifying that their personal information of sensitive personal information may have been left compromised in the data breach.
The amount of the settlement will vary depending on your location and the category you are put in.
Only the members of the California SPI and national SPI categories will receive additional funds related to the data breach. That means they will receive up to $5,000 and up to four hours of unpaid time off work at a rate of $50 per hour.
Under the settlement terms, the following subclasses will receive the following settlement amounts.
- Nationwide PI exposure subclass: $20
- Nationwide SPI exposure subclass: $80

Those who want to exclude themselves from the settlement payment must take an action by submitting their request for exclusion by March 13, 2023.
Excluding means, you will never receive any amount from this settlement caused by the data breach. However, this is just an option if you don’t want to bring a separate action against the perpetrators.
