Officials say The consolation scheme in St Louis, Missouri is being funded from a $ 5 million pot. KTVI reports, 400 struggling and more families could pocket monthly checks of $500 for 18 months if the event is signed and approved into law.

The city’s Board of Aldermen and their Lawmakers there gave the scheme the green light. They are waiting for Mayor Tishaura Jones to sign off and approve it. According to a published post by The US

The St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Megan Green said: “Today we demonstrate our dedication to helping St. Louis families and their children. The Abundant Birth Project was established in 2021. It says that 50 women in San Francisco pocket $1,000 a month over a year.
