3 Suspects in Delaware Mall Shooting
Authorities are looking for three people who may have been involved in Delaware Mall shooting over the weekend. Three people were wounded which led to an evacuation.
The three suspects, according to the state police, attacked an 18-year-old guy as he was leaving the food court at the Christiana Mall around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Two of the victim’s friends started fighting with the suspects, and one of them pulled out a handgun and fired several shots. The person who was the intended target of the attack with a 16-year-old friend were each hit by three bullets in the upper body and legs. After that, the three suspects, who were in their late teens, ran away.
Wounded Victims Now in Stable Condition
The people who were hurt in Delaware Mall shooting were taken to hospitals and were said to be in good condition. A bullet hit an 18-year-old bystander who was standing on the sidewalk outside the mall entrance. The wound was not life-threatening, and the man was treated at a hospital. The police released some photos and video of the suspects in Delaware Mall shooting and asked the public to help them find them.
People ran out of the mall when they heard gunshots, and cops and other first responders rushed to the scene. The mall was closed on Sunday because it was a holiday, but it reopened Monday.
