2nd hush money payout to Playboy model is also being investigated by the Trump grand jury

Evidence regarding a different financial exchange with a different lady who is said to have had a relationship with the former president was presented to the Manhattan grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s suspected participation in a bribe money payout to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

The former Playboy model Karen McDougal, that alleges that she had an adulterous affair with Trump starting in 2006, has reportedly been the subject of proof handed to the grand jury by the office of Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The National Enquirer’s corporate business, which supported Trump’s initial presidential campaign, decided to give McDougal $150,000 for her account regarding the extramarital affair, as the Journal first revealed in 2016. But the magazine decided not to release McDougal’s account in the end, essentially killing the story in a business strategy called “catch and kill.”

The situation is very similar to how Daniels’ claim about her suspected sexual meetings with Trump starting in 2006 was handled. Daniels received $130,000 from Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen in exchange for her claim in 2016, but it wasn’t made public till 2018. Trump has denied involvement in the bribe money plot and has rejected Cohen’s claims that he was compensated by the former president for the payout.
