The College of the Canyons School of Visual and Performing Arts will wrap up the fall semester with a lineup of musical performances designed to showcase the college’s talented students and help ring in the holiday season.

The Electronica Musique and Multimedia Concert will feature 12 up-and-coming composers, DJs and producers performing under the direction of composer and COC music department faculty member Bernardo Feldman. Admission is free. The performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Black Box Theatre.

On Friday, Dec. 7 the College of the Canyons Jazz Ensemble, Lab Band and guest vocalist Katherine Lench-Meyering will be performing a collection of holiday classics at the Holiday Concert & Sing-Along, which starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for seniors and children.

In addition, the Chancellor’s Cabaret is hosting Jazz Tidings, which features performances by the award-winning groups Just Jazz and House Blend. Attendees are invited to enjoy festive vocal jazz harmonies along with traditional holiday treats at 6:30 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center. Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and children, with all tickets sold at the door on the night of the event.

The holiday festivities continue with a second Chancellor’s Cabaret performance on Saturday, Dec. 8. Families are welcome to enjoy A Holiday Tapestry, starring the Chamber Singers and Voices of the Canyons, at the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center. Like the Chancellor’s Cabaret performances the day before, Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and children.
