It’s traditionally been easy to sweep the dynamic and the bold under the heavy blanket of suburban sprawl. With three colleges in the valley and Los Angeles just an hour or so away, creative talent is brewing in the Santa Clarita Valley. Artists of all mediums — music, visual, dance, writing, film, multimedia — are weaving together the fabric of the valley’s cultural community.

As we ramp up our coverage of the local creative and entertainment scene, we found it only fitting to dedicate a separate section to the electric minds coloring in the cultural map of the Santa Clarita Valley. We’ll be covering entertainment events, local creatives and groundbreaking art.
