Those of you who pay taxes in Colorado have good news to share. You will likely be entitled to a tax refund or a relief check from the state of Colorado of $750 to $1,500, and you will get it in the following two weeks. This initiative aims to assist Coloradans in getting some respite from inflation.

The specifics are as follows: Residents of Colorado who submitted a 2021 DR 0104 by October 17, 2022, following Senate Bill 22-233 (also known as Colorado Cash Back), would get a refund by January 31, 2023.

Marca reported that one state has issued checks all month long and wants to send all of these checks by the end of the week. Even Jared Polis, the governor, approved a measure establishing these payments in May 2022.

Colorado Relief Check 2023: Get This Money by End-January

You should have received your payout in the mail by now, according to the Colorado Department of Revenue, but if you filed later, you should get your refund by January 31st, 2023.

There is always a chance that your check was delivered in error. Sometimes mistakes are unavoidable. Simply get in touch with the Department of Revenue if you’re unsure.

The revenue that is received over the cap for a particular fiscal year must be returned in the subsequent fiscal year, according to a Colorado legislation that is now in place. The Colorado Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights is what it’s called, and its acronym is TABOR. The state of Colorado basically gathered too much money, so they sent money back to you.
