A 14-year-old Alabama boy was charged with two counts of capital murder after he shot two women during a party, according to police.

Alabama Boy Charged With Murder

Vincent Lamar Oliver Jr., 14 years old, was charged with two counts of murder after he shot two women during a party. Police authorities said that he is now in the custody. The 14-year-old Alabama boy was arrested on Monday and charged as a juvenile.

Under Alabama law, information about minor suspects or minors involved in a crime should not be released. However, the authorities were able to obtain a court order granting them to release photos and information about Vincent Lamar Oliver Jr. in the interest of public safety.

In an article published in INSIDE EDITION, the shooting incident happened on Sunday. Victims were identified as Jasmine Danielle Bean, 21 years old, and Ja’Lexius Lashon Wells, 20 years old, according to the official release from the Dothan Police Department.

Police Officers Revealed What They Discovered About the Alabama Boy

Police officers responded to the shooting incident after they receive a call. They found the two women suffering from gunshot wounds. During the investigation, they found that the 14-year-old Alabama boy who shot the women had several photos on social media holding various weapons and handguns.

Police confirmed that the boy was placed in Southeast Alabama Diversion Center after he was arrested. They were also looking into another crime in which Oliver might be involved in July.
