Two women in Clark County were arrested and charged after a 14-month-old was drowned and found dead in a hot tub.
14-month-Old Toddler Was Found Dead in a Hot Tub
A 14 month-month-old toddler in Clark County was drowned and found dead in a hot tub after the mother and another woman left to use meth. According to a report from a news outlet, 41-year-old Monica Goodwin and 44-year-old Erica Goodwin were at home when the fatal incident happened.
The two of them went upstairs with to use meth while leaving Monica’s 14-month-old downstairs. While they were using meth, the 14-month-old toddler crawled to the hot tub which led to his fatal death, according to a published report in TRUE CRIME DAILY.
Moreover, investigators with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office found drug paraphernalia when they did a search of the home. When the two women were asked about it, they did not deny of using drugs regularly.

Two Women Were Arrested and Charged
In a complaint filed and obtained by a news outlet, it says, “The circumstances surrounding this incident manifest an extreme indifference to human life and created a grave risk of death to the child,” However, the police authorities cannot establish if the mother of the 14-month-old toddler showed neglect before the incident.
On Nov. 28, the suspects were both arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond each. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 5.
