13-year-old boy leads California cops on a hunt in a looted car and crashes, killing one and injuring nearly a dozen

Officials told reporters a 13-year-old boy was killed and almost twelve others have been harmed after he collapsed into 2 other automobiles while supposed to lead officers on a run in a stolen car in California.

Based on a news release from the Woodland Police Department, an officer noticed a car getting driven unsteadily on Saturday afternoon. Woodland is approximately 15 miles northwest of Sacramento.

The cop tried to drag the car over, and a pursuit occurs, according to Woodland police. After that, the car clashed with 2 different vehicles, going to cause 2 of them to catch on fire.

As per the release, 4 ambulances were dispatched to the scene, where 1 person died and “almost a dozen” individuals suffered injuries. Their injuries were still being analyzed Saturday evening.

The driver of the automobile engaged in the pursuit was eventually identified as a 13-year-old boy traveling in a getaway car.

According to police, the California Highway Patrol is currently researching the reason for the crash.
