Americans have four days left and can still apply for a $1,200 monthly payment for 18 months that will begin this January 2023.

$1,200 Monthly Payments
An amount of $1,200 monthly payment is offered to qualified and eligible Americans under the new universal basic income. This monthly payment will start this January 2023 and will last for 18 months and there is still time to apply for the payment.
The Guaranteed Income for Transgender People (GIFT) will benefit the transgender community living in San Francisco, California. According to a report published in The U.S. Sun, they will select 55 participants for this 18-month program.
The application started on Nov.15 and will end on Dec.15. GIFT is a partnership with the city, medical and mental health provider Lyon-Martin Community Health Services, and the nonprofit Transgender District. Participants must complete surveys every three months to help improve the process to stay in the program.

How To Become Eligible?
The following are the eligibility requirements:
- You must identify as either transgender, non-binary, intersex, or gender nonconforming.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in San Francisco.
- Must be earning less than $600 per month at the time of their application.
- the maximum income one can make while enrolled is $4,000 per month.
Those who qualify should submit their application online including personal information such as first name, phone number and email address. The following documents should also be provided:
- Photo identification
- Income verification documents
- W2 form
- Pay Stubs
- Bank Statement(s)
- Supplemental Security Income or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) award letters
- CAP award letters
- Student Financial Aid award letters
- Self-Attestation Letter
- Proof of lease
- Official mail
- Homeless verification letter
- Self-Attestation Letter
