A new guaranteed income program is out there in Shreveport, Louisiana. The program was supposed to be out in the month of February, but it came into action this month. According to this program, there will be an amount of $660 Monthly Income given to people.
110 families will profit from the scheme
According to the official data, there are more than 110 families who will get a benefit from the given scheme. The payment will be made for 12 months, which will eventually boost the financial stability of these families. If your family is also eligible for the amount, then you can apply with the form until January 17. On the other hand, the mayor also declared that there were families who could meet the deadline, and also there were people who didn’t meet the criteria even after being selected.
According to the criteria, a person who is going to receive the payment must be a single parent, and he must have an income 120 percent below the federal poverty line. If the criteria are not met, then there is no chance a person can claim the payment. A single parent can be a mother, father, or even step-parent. Even the grandfather and the legal caretaker are included in the scheme. The child must be under 20 and above the age of 3 to get the stimulus check.
