11 people were killed and hundreds injured by tornadoes in five states

According to local authorities speaking to ABC News, a tornado epidemic that hit the Midwest and South Friday evening has left at least 11 people killed throughout 5 states and hundreds extra ill.

Although several tornadoes were recorded in the states of Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, the precise number of tornadoes that were confirmed has not yet been identified. As reported by the National Weather Service, over 28 million citizens in the South and Midwest had a tornado warning as of Friday night.

As per authorities, 5 of the 11 deaths occurred in Arkansas, 3 in Indiana, 1 in Illinois, 1 in Alabama, and 1 in Mississippi.

Within the previous 24 hours, there have been 57 reports of tornadoes in a vast area including 7 states. Since around Saturday morning, there has been an increasing quantity of information on tornadoes due to the continuous storm threat.

According to Madeline Roberts, a spokesperson for the county’s emergency services organization, at least one individual dead, and over 50 individuals were admitted in Pulaski County, Arkansas, with many people scheduled to be admitted, according to ABC News. She was unaware of the circumstances surrounding those people.
