President Joe Biden Signed a Federal Government Fund with An Amount Of $1.7 Trillion.
On Thursday, President Joe Biden signed a $1.7 trillion spending bill that will make the federal government operations until the end of the federal budget year in September year 2023.
According to a published post by USA Today, this is made to give billions of dollars fold in new aid to the country Ukraine for its battle with the Russian Military. The President had a deadline up until Friday to sign the bill to steer clear of a partial shutdown of the Government.
President Joe Biden Signs $1.7 Trillion Bill Funding Government Operations
The funding bill adds a roughly 6% rise in spending for domestic initiatives, up to $772.5 billion worth. Deplete on defense programs will rise by about 10%, up to $858 billion worth.
The huge money, which topped out at more than pages 4,000, and equals 12 appropriations bills, helps Ukraine and disaster relief for people to recover from natural disasters. It also has scores of changes in policy that lawmakers worked to include in the last major bill added by the session of Congress.
Bill 225-201 has been passed by the Democratic-controlled House, the majority along party lines, just before the Holidays.
